Mayonnaise is a silky, creamy, thick-textured sauce or dressing that is made of egg yolk, oil, vinegar, or lemon juice with some seasoning. It is French cuisine. It is put on salad, French fries, and cheese balls. Its taste and texture impressed every one. Here we are going to teach you a new seasonal mayonnaise recipe: Coriander Mayonnaise.
Ingredients for 6 Servings
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves,
1 tsp fine chopped green chili / paste,
1 egg yolk or milk,
1 lemon juice,
Salt as per taste,
1 tsp black pepper crushed,
1 tsp mustard powder,
1 cup hung curd,
1 tbsp honey/ sugar,
1 tsp garlic crushed/paste,
250 ml olive oil or seism oil.
In a blender place the cracked egg, mustard and salt,
Blend for 25 seconds,
Add chili, coriander, lemon juice
Blend for 5 seconds,
Now with the motor still running, add the oil in a thin, steady stream,
The mixture will thicken after half the oil has been added,
Now add the remaining oil until it is all absorbed,
Add other spices and mix it well,
Take it out in a bowl or jar and keep it in fridge for 2 hours,
When all flavors gets matured then it can be used any fast food like cheese balls, fries, sandwiches etc.
Note- If you don’t want egg, you can skip it. If making it with milk & curd, process is same. Use milk instead of egg.
